Richard jackson, dated february 21, 2014, ecs will install a total of four deep monitoring wells in areas where mip results indicated the potential presence of possible chlorinated solvents. The mip boring locations selected for deep monitoring well installation include m1, m2, m6, and m7. These wells are in addition to previously proposed wells in the area of the former usts. In addition to the four deep wells one additional deep well will be placed in the geothermal well. One shallow well will also be placed next to mip location m7 to monitor the upper aquifer conditions. In total this work plan covers the installation and sampling of six monitoring wells. The locations of the proposed monitoring wells are depicted on figure 1. The wells will be installed using a hollow-stem auger rig.
