The front light was a keyless screwed to the metal siding and wire nutted together above it where the wire from the switch came through -- removed keyless and installed pancake with wire securing gromit at the wire location and installed new light rear door light had a bathroom bar light installed on it, removed bar light and again installed pancake with gromit and installed new light.

Electrical service of this apartment building was vandalized morning of 4/28/12 and the riser was totally destroyed. A new riser and service head/wiring are to be installed to bring the 400a service back online. This apartment building has a 400a service entrance with 8x50a apartment unit disconnects, the service entrance and associated boxes suffered minimal damage and are retained. Oppd has been consulted and approved relocating the service drop to a pole that is closer to the existing mounted service.

Called to location about flickering lights and occasional tingling/shock in shower, etc. Found totally unsatisfactory main panel and service. The whole thing needs redone to code and safety, was supposedly done by a professed licensed elect. But service was obviously not inspected. Primary safety issue is that intermittent contact and arcing are occurring in service pipe, need to replace the service wire, the meter socket (current one is 60a and dangling off the siding), the panel in the basement is barely attached to the wall, grounding and bonding either not-attached or non-existent, etc, etc.
