We will perform a total of 6 borings across the property with a geoprobe drill rig. Per the ddoe approved cap, the borings will be advanced to a depth of 5 feet below field evidence of petroleum impact which is currently assumed to be to a depth of 25-35 feet. The diameter of the boreholes will be 2. 25 inches. Select soil and groundwater samples will be collected. Permanent groundwater wells will not be installed. Following completion of each boring, the boring will be grouted. Subslab vapor samples will also be collected from directly beneath the concrete slab of the existing building. The soil surface will not be penetrated as part of the subslab vapor sampling. See the attached work plan for specific details regarding the soil/groundwater/subslab vapor sampling and grouting.

A total of 67 borings will be advanced across the property with a geoprobe drill rig to depths ranging between and feet below surface grade. The diameter of the bore holes will be 2. 25 inches. Select soil samples will be collected from each boring location. Following completion of boring, the boring will be grouted. See the attached workplan for specific depths of each boring and details for the soil sampling and grouting.

A total of 6 borings will be advanced across the property with a geoprobe drill rig to a depth of 25 feet below surface grade. The diameter of the borehole will be 2. 25 inches. Soil will be screened throughout the depth of each boring and each 5-foot composite sample will be analyzed. Groundwater will be collected from temporary wells in three borings if encountered. All borings will be grouted with approved bentonite slurry upon completion. See workplan for additional details.

Eight borings will be advanced with an 8-inch hollow stem auger to depths ranging between and feet below surface grade. The borings will be converted into 2-inch monitoring wells. Soil will be collected during well installation and groundwater samples will be collected after the wells have been developed. A direct push geoprobe will be used to obtain soil samples from borings to a depth of 36 feet. Each boring will be 2 inches in diameter. One inch slotted temporary piezometers will be placed in 4 of the borings if groundwater is encountered. The piezometers will be removed following the collection of the groundwater samples.
