SCORE 86 Two borings (b-37 and b-38) shall be performed, b-37 on the left shoulder of the ramp and b-38 will be inside the curb on the right side of the ramp; however will need to block the right shoulder for worker safety. The plan included with this permit shows the approximate locations of each proposed boring. A single truck or atv drill rig (approximately wide by long) will be used to advance an approximate 6 diameter boring (using hollow-stem augers) to a depth of 1 feet below the existing ground surface at each location. During drilling, samples will be taken for geotechnical testing and analyses. Prior to commencing drilling, miss utility will be notified to mark all existing public utilities. A private utility locator will also be used to identify any utilities not marked by miss utility. Upon completion, the borings will be backfilled and patched in general accordance with ddoe requirements.
