Roof replacement on existing single as per vcc permit #

To renovate existing building, per final plans received 03/28/16, approved by the architectural committee 04/12/16, and stamped vcc approved 04/19/16. Work includes but is not limited to:installation of geothermal wells in courtyard,remove through-wall and window-installed hvac units, miscellaneous exterior wiring, piping, and abandoned vents,remove existing metal fire ladder, railing and condenser unit,remove all deteriorated stucco and existing vegetation at walls and roof; repoint brick and install new stucco per vcc stucco and mortar forumla (below),repair and/or replace exterior shutters to match existing,remove existing door on second floor, barracks-side of dependency; infill opening with brick to (match existing in size, color, hardness, etc.) toothed in to existing brick. Note: generator, generator enclosure, exterior lighting and paint are not included in this permit and must be permitted separately.

Reserve space in front of 8 esplanade ave for 6-months.

Remove deteriorated portland cement stucco from bourbon side wall. Repair masonry crack by retoothing brick as indicated in engineers report (attached), using vcc mortar forumla. Install three coat stucco system as indicated on attached sheet stamped vcc approved 10 31 16. All reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using vcc mortar formula (attached). Cracked or broken bricks shall be replaced to match existing in color, size, material, porosity, detail, profile and exposure. Failure to exactly match materials, paint color, or vcc mortar as specified in permit will result in a vcc violation and mandated repair of improper work. All mortar to be mixed using the vcc recipe (attached) with a maximum of 1 part portland cement, to 3 parts lime, to 9 parts sand, and enough water to form a workable mix. Lighting, fixtures, and cameras, per materials stamped vcc approved 07 14 17, as follows:install three (3) "denali series" surface downlights with "c cap" (3" dia, 7" can, 0" stem), centered on depth of front balcony and equally spaced. Install "bevolo" gas lantern fq-21-y-g with ladder rack in front alcove. Install seven (7) "bevolo" gas lanterns, fq-18-hl-c-ch, on bourbon-side alley courtyard wall. Copper supply line run at underside of brick wall corbel. Install four (4) "bevolo" electric lanterns, fq-18-hl-g-ch electric fixtures on barracks and dauphine-side courtyard walls, to match gas fixtures. Install two (2) "bevolo" gas lanterns, fq-21-yh-g on yoke hangers, one in each rear porch area on the first and second floors. Remove and replace hard portland cement stucco on bourbon and dauphine elevations, per attached materials stamped vcc approved 07 31 17, as follows:on bourbon elevation, remove all existing stucco and repoint masonry as needed using vcc mortar formula. Install new vcc stucco formula (attached). Stucco must be scored to correspond to the existing scoring pattern on the front, esplanade elevation and must "wrap" the corner. All dimensions, scoring depth profile, etc. Shall match existing. On dauphine elevation, remove stucco wainscot and repoint masonry using vcc mortar formula. Install new vcc stucco formula (attached). Do not score stucco on this elevation. Any reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using vcc mortar formula (attached).
