To repoint courtyard walls of the conti and burgundy sides of the courtyard as per materials submitted 02/02/16 and 02/18/16, stamped approved 02/23/16. All mortar to be mixed using the recipe below:

Remove all existing, unpermitted and or unshielded light fixtures install six (6) nicor model #11512 to the underside of the balcony and cut corner soffit centered over the window door openings as per staff supplied materials stamped vcc approved 05 09 17 fixtures shall be painted or prefinished to match adjacent building surface. All wiring shall be placed in conduits all conduits shall be placed along the inside corners of building surfaces as much as possible, such as along balcony purlins at the deck line, and painted to match the adjacent surfaces. All fixtures shall use satco s9401 lamps with the following criteria: 3000k color temperature, 80+ color rendering index, and 800-12 lumens per bulb

Remove and replace existing gate between between 8 st. Louis street(hermann-grima house) and 819 conti street (broussards restaurant) per application and materials recieved 9/3/2015 and drawing dated 8/27/2015. New gate to be batten board double door wood gate measuring 62"h x 33" w and 1 1/4" thick (to match existing). Strap hinges will be painted to match the adjacent surface (to match existing). New box lock and a new handle to match existing. Edit: gates to be fabricated using five (5) t&g boards per gate, as called out on drawing stamped vcc approved 10/19/15. Overall dimension of gate and opening is not affected. (previous drawing indicates six (6) t&g boards per gate.)

Repoint both sides of courtyard masonry wall (on bourbon-side of main, purple-rated building), as needed, using vcc mortar formula (attached) and matching existing mortar joint profiles. Any reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using vcc mortar formula (attached). Cracked or broken bricks shall be replaced to match existing in color, size, material, porosity, detail, profile and exposure. Failure to exactly match materials, paint color, or vcc mortar as specified in permit will result in a vcc violation and mandated repair of improper work. All mortar to be mixed using the vcc recipe (attached) with a maximum of 1 part portland cement, to 3 parts lime, to 9 parts sand, and enough water to form a workable mix. Prepackaged mixes are not permitted.

Temporarily install 9"x11" pre-printed plastic interactive sign as part of the wyes "tricentennial moments" program. Installation to be only from june 2017 and shall be removed december 2018. Mounting and location as per attached sketch. The sign shall not be permanently attached to the building. If there is any damage, discoloring, scraping, etc to the historic building due to the signage installation, the building shall be repaired by the applicant as necessary to match existing.
