A monitoring well will be installed at feet below ground surface. A vibrating wire piezometer will be installed at 1 feet below ground surface. The greater than screened interval will allow for greater draw down in the event of a pump test. Surface casing anticipated to be left in place. Permanent casing will not be installed to enable sampling water near the ground surface by installing a shallow well. A monitoring well will be installed at 12 feet bgs and a vibrating wire piezometer installed at 1 feet bgs. All drilling generated waste will be drummed, tested and shipped offsite for disposal. In the event the well is not completed within 1 day, the well shall be covered protected from surface water drainage, and the vertical migration of contaminants and other materials through the well casing and well annulus. A locking well cap will be installed and the rig parked over the excavation to prohibit vandalism. No drilling spoils or excavated soils will be used as backfill. A permanent casing will be place feet into the potomac clays and an monitoring well will be installed at 100-1 feet upon boring completion. Borings nebbd-55e, nebbd-56e and nebbd-57e will be 2 inches diameter, feet deep and drilled using direct push boring methods. The direct push borings will be backfilled with hydrated bentonite powder upon boring completion. All drill cuttings will be containerized and removed from the site for proper testing and disposal.
