Using hollow stem auger method, we will drill nine 4-inch diameter test borings to a depth of 15 feet to evaluate the subsurface conditions in the proposed power line route. Drilling spoils will be containerized in 55-gallon drums. The drums will be removed from the site once chemical analysis is completed. The bore holes will be grouted with a 60: ratio of bentonite powder to cement. The top layer of the backfill will match the terrain in which the boring is located within. The 8 page boring location plan can be found in binder1 with the traffic control plan, as it was necessary for uploading under the file size limit.
