Remove delaminated stucco on chartres elevation of blue-rated building to allow for inspection of underlying brick conditions, as indicated per attached materials stamped vcc approved 11 08 17. Stucco must be carefully removed by hand with no use of power tools. If stucco is not removed easily it must remain in place. Prior to further work: contact vcc staff for inspection of underlying brick. Any new stucco application prior to vcc inspection will result in a stop work order and mandated repair of improper work revised: repoint masonry as needed using vcc mortar formula (attached). Do not overfill mortar joints, in preparation to receive new stucco. All reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using vcc mortar formula (attached).
