SCORE 86 One 6-inch diameter soil test boring will be drilled using continuous flight hollow stem augers. The boring will extend to a maximum depth of 15 feet below current site grades using a truck-mounted drill rig. The samples will be containerized for geotechnical classification and laboratory testing. After boring completion, the borehole will be grouted with bentonite slurry (2 lbs of bentonite to 1 gallon of water) and the auger cuttings and all other investigation derived waste (idw) will be containerized in sealed drums. Where necessary, pavement will be patched with quick set high strength concrete.
