SCORE 89 A small, 1. 35 kw, residential, grid tied, photovoltaic (pv) system will be installed on the roof of the garage, on a composite shingle roof, using the "pro solar" lag bolt racking system. The garage is detached and separate from the home and is an accessory structure. The 1. 35 kw pv system consists of a total of 5 solar modules. 3 solar panels will be on the south roof, 1 solar panel on the east roof, and 1 solar panel on the west roof. All panels will be connected "in-series", into a 2,5 watt, single phase, dc-ac, schneider brand, macro inverter. A dc disconnect box with dc breakers will be set in between the solar panels and inverter. Ac breakers will also be placed in the ac panel in the garage. All cable will be properly sized (10-14 awg) and will be run through proper electrical conduit and will tie into the grid via the homes ac breaker panel. All components are ul certified for north america.
