I am requesting permission to replace the missing wood balusters on my exterior stairs. I have custom made the replacements to exactly match the existing decorative ones. The plain balusters on the landing (at the top of the stairs) do not match those on the stairs. The previously issued permit directed me to remove these undamaged balusters and replace them with the decorative type. As this condition existed at the time of my purchase of the property, i am asking permission to leave the undamaged balusters on the landing in place.
