This project includes the full renovation of an existing 3 unit, 3 story + cellar building. A new basement slab will be poured and the roof will be replaced and secured for occupant use. All units will be reconfigured and receive new finishes throughout. The unit alterations will account for more than percent of the aggregate floor area of the building and will qualify as a level iii alteration as defined by the 2012 international existing building code with the dc 12 dcmr j supplement. The renovated units will receive upgrades to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. An upgraded fire alarm system and sprinkler system will be provided throughout.
