Entergy shows both 40 dumaine and 40 dumaine, b in its database of service locations. The address is zoned as residential d for single or double family dwellings. The preceding owner decided to have one meter for the entire property. The base plate and meter were removed with the wiring for both units being merged to flow from the single remaining meter. However, 40 dumaine, b retained its kitchen and functioned as a second dwelling without sitting vacant despite the removal of the second electric meter. The current owner met with robert mcdonald, who conferred with ed horan on 2/23/2016. He approved installation of a meter for unit b, citing- zoning hu-rd1.
