The technology innovation and entreprenurship project inc. Is working with the new urban mechanics division of the mayors office the center for bits and atoms at mit and the bps madison park vocational and technical high school to bring the mobile fab lab to the boston community. The mobile fab lab is a self-contained design studio containing various digital fabrication technlogies and machines. The tie project inc. Will be opperating technology training programs including youth camps and teacher workshops to raise awareness of and engament in personal fabrication and stem educational applications of modern technology. The mobile fab lab will occupy a 43x16x13 space in the front of the madison park educational complex near the reggie louis sports center. Tables and tenting will be set up in the surrounding plazza to accomodate community participation in the lab. The setup may require a small storage trailer and a portable sanitaion facility.
