Preform 8 soil borings around in the area of the current building to evaluate soil for future excavation. Borings will be completed with a geoprobe drill rig to a maximum depth of 25 feet below ground surface. The diameter of the bore hole will be 2. 25 inches. Select soil samples will be collected from each boring. Permanent groundwater monitoring wells will not be installed. Following completion of the borings, borings will be grouted. See attached work plan for specific details regarding soil sampling and grouting.

The scope of service will involve using a hollow-stem auger drilling rig to complete the installation of 4 two-inch diameter groundwater monitoring wells installed in shallow groundwater and 2 two-inch diameter groundwater monitoring wells installed just above the first encountered confining layer. These wells will be constructed of gauge pvc with slot well screen. Number 2 sand will be used around the screen with bentonite and grout to seal the well in place. During drilling operations soil samples will be collected, field screened and submitted for laboratory analysis. The monitoring wells will be completed at an estimate depth of feet below ground sruface.

Advance 5 soil borings to a maximum depth of 15ft below ground surface or until a until a confining layer is reached using a geoprobe drill rig to collect soil samples. Also advance 3 soil vapor sampling points to a maximum of 15ft below ground surface or until a confining layer is reached using a geoprobe drill rig to collect soil vapor samples. All brings will be grouted on the same day using a 2 pounds bentonite powder to 1 gallon of water mix. It will be filled from the bottom to the top using a tremme pipe.
