The purpose for the modification is revitalization of the moonwalk for the occasion of the new orleans 2018 tricentennial and is on an accelerated schedule for the new orleans mayoral office. The extent of project work runs along the mississippi river from st. Peter street to st. Phillip street on the left descending bank at river mile 94. 5 ahp. This project links the french quarter to the mississippi river through three renovated plazas: 1. Washington artillery plaza, 2. Dumaine street plaza, and 3. St. Phillip street plaza. The plazas will be linked by the renovated walkway next to the river and will include steps and seating at the washington artillery plaza. This pile supported concrete step wall will run approximately 3 feet along the river bank.
