SCORE 59 39 V St Ne, Washington, Dc 20002 Home was originally purchased and renovated by insun and jefferson hofgard, and did not go through the zoning process properly. The work that will be completed will include remedying the building code and zoning issues caused by the first renovations in 2013 before the house was sold to me. The majority of the work will be done in the basement as it was not insulated or fire blocked properly in the utility room. Two former windows were not covered correctly - one in the utility room, which was never insulated and is causing my pipes to freeze in the winter; and another under the porch which was only covered over with plywood and was never rated properly for ground contact. This will be closed by masonry. A basement entrance and window was added without a proper zoning review by the former owners, and we are unsure to the origins of the back staircase.
