SCORE 56 1st Street Sw And R Street Sw Washington Dc Drilling up to 8 borings (depths of ft) with three inch diameter, with 4 converted to temporary monitoring wells for environmental investigation. Borings will be grouted in accordance with ddoe requirements upon completion of sampling. Bentonite slurry with 2:1 ratio of bentonite powder to water. Work will be conducted on 1st street sw and r street sw in-between potomac ave sw & s street sw. Soil borings not completed as temporary wells will be backfilled/abandoned within 24-hours of sampling using a bentonite slurry (two pounds of bentonite to one gallon of water) in accordance with ddoe guidance. The grout will be installed using a tremie pipe from the bottom of the borehole to the ground surface to prevent surface water infiltration.
