SCORE 56 15 Pennsylvania Ave Se, Washington, Dc 20003 All wells will be temporary wells to allow for collection of one round of groundwater samples and groundwater elevation readings. The proposed work consist on install twelve soil borings and six temporary monitoring wells on private property. Based on prior geotechnical borings logs from the site published geologic maps the subsurface materials and anticipated to be unconsolidated so the boreholes will be abandoned by filing the boreholes with a sealing matrials from the bottom of the boring to within two feet of the ground surface. Sodium-based bentonite clay has been selected for use at this site and will be mixed at a ratio of two pound of bentonite t one gallon of water. The sealing materials will be placed in the borholes via tremie pipe methods beginning at the base of the boring and ending no more than two feet from the ground surface the remaining space will be patched with concrete mix.
