Six infiltration tests will be performed in temporary pvc pipes, for a total of 9 borings on the site. The geotechnical borings are planned to be feet deep and 5 inches in diameter. The infiltration test borings are planned to be 12 feet deep and 5 inches in diameter. All will be drilled with a hollow stem auger.

M Street Se And 12th Street Se Washington Dc
Drill up to 12 geotechnical soil borings within m street se to identify sand layers to be grouted (by others) for the proposed sewer pipe/tunnel under m street se. M street se is already closed, and will remain closed for the duration of this project. Two public space permits are alread in place for this project (pa62436 and pa65623). All soil borings will be grouted at completion as per ddoe requirments. All plans must show curb lines, property lines, nearest intersection street, dimension and lable all fixtures, this consruction permit requires a separate occupancy permit. The attached plans and conditions are a part of this permit. If steel plates are used at this job site an additional permit is needed.
