The proposed work was approved by the historic commission at the hearing on august 4, 2016. The zoning board of appeals approved a special permit for the proposed work on august 25, 2016. As the homeowner, i would like to be the general contractor. I will sub out the work only to licensed contractors with workers comp insurance and liability insurance. He is the highly skilled contractor who has underpinned virtually all of the settling rowhouses on the flat of beacon hill and the back bay due to the falliing water table.
