We propose to plant one red maple and two sunny knockout rose trees. The homeowner at 4411 39th street, jeff jacobs, supports us in this application as he lost a linden due to disease in the spot where, together, we would like to plant the red maple. We would be happy to discuss our application with the citys arborist. We planted a red maple with a city permit several years ago to replace a diseased silver maple and the red maple is doing well. Our map showing the proposed plantings is attached to this application. New note may 3, 2016: no traffic control plan is needed as there will be no disruption of or change to any traffic during or as a result of the planting of these trees. We will plant the trees ourselves and will not need to block off any traffic during planting, nor will the growing trees impinge in any way on traffic. Thank you. We propose to plant one venus dogwood and two sunny knockout tree-form rose trees (which we will stake). We are not proposing to plant the more common sunny knockout bush form, but rather the single stem tree-form of the sunny knockout rose.
