To renovate the interior of the front historic buildings and add a gallery along chartres st. The building will be repaired as needed. The existing side alley stairs will be removed, one will be replaced to create an emergency exit stair. The back garage building will be repaired, the slab will be repoured and the roof replaced. Within the existing height (roof line), a second floor will be added. The roof will be smaller so that some area is open to the sky from the new second floor. The hvac units will be on a platform on the roof. An elevator will be added with an elevator pop-up in the open space.
