Expand existing deck @ rear of the house. Clc; p & z staff recieved plans for review monday, october 24, 2005 property located in rs-4 residential single-family medium density district. Through lot with double road frontage with what appears to be a publ,ic unimproved right-of-way in the rear yard. As per udo subsection 7-10-2(e) , parcels abutting an alley at the rear of the lot are not considered through lots for rear yard setback requirements. Therefore, in accordance with udo, sec. 7-10-2. (f) (3) decks, steps, uncovered porches, patios, and terraces may encroach into a required rear setback, but no closer than six feet to the rear property line.; building safety review comments the approved plans with the attached review comments are required to be at the job site for use by the field inspector(s) at all times. The building permit is required to be posted at the jobsite at all times. Spoke with stewart and he advised that this permit be routed to grading due to the amount of dirt required and potential runoff issues. Also there is an issue as to ownership of property that the proposed "turn around" is being constructed on. It looks like a public thruway? :bld phillips retaining wall at driveway.
