Installing a 12 water line onsite in main drive from 16th st to georgia ave and are looking for permit expediting services to process the dcra bciv permit required for this work. The water line will be installed on private property with the exception of the connections at 16th st and georgia ave. Once the water line is complete, it will be dedicated to dc water and they will have an easement in main drive.

Using the hollow stem auger method, we will drill eight test borings with 6 in. Diameter in the proposed building area to evaluate the subsurface conditions. Proposed test boring depths range from to 35 feet , b-3, b-4, b-5, and b-6, in the building addition area, to 15 feet ,b-2, b-7, and b-8, in the parking lot area, and 25 feet, b-1, in the stair/elevator areas, respectively. Additionally, we will perform two auger offset borings with the diameter of 6 in. And depth of 6 feet each, b-7a and b-8a, for two field borings in the parking lot area. The offset auger probe holes will be used to perform in-situ infiltration testing per appendix o of the ddoe requirements.

We will perform a total of eight soil borings at the site. The borings will be drilled utilizing a 3. 25-inch hollow-stem, continuous flight augers. The borings will be performed utilizing an atv mounted drill rig and will generate an approximately 6-inch annulus. Borings will be advanced to 35 feet below existing grades. Backfill of the borings upon completion will be with bentonite slurry that has a mix design of 2 bentonite powder to one gallon of water
