Cracked or broken bricks shall be replaced to match existing in color, size, material, porosity, detail, profile and exposure. Failure to exactly match materials, paint color, or vcc mortar as specified in permit will result in a vcc violation and mandated repair of improper work. All mortar to be mixed using the vcc recipe (attached) with a maximum of 1 part portland cement, to 3 parts lime, to 9 parts sand, and enough water to form a workable mix. Prepackaged mixes are not permitted.

Remove deteriorated floor boards, stringers, and fascia boards. Install new 3"x4" beaded stringers, 5/4x4 s2s t&g floorboards, and 7/8" fascia with " bead, all as per vcc standard detail sheet no. 12 (attached). All repair/replacement work shall match existing in color, size, material, detail, profile and exposure install four (4) remcraft 1 series surface-mounted down-light fixtures under chartres elevation balcony, centered above each ground-floor opening, halfway between building face and fascia edge, lamped with warm, white led lights of approximately 7 watts. All wiring and conduit is to be placed along the inside edges of the building, such as against gallery purlins, and painted to match adjacent building surfaces. Note: permit issued in response to violations. Work shall commence no less than days after permit is issued. Work must be completed no less than days after work begins. Owner will call vcc for final inspection upon completion of work.

Install one double-sided, wooden sign 3" thick, measuring 30" x 23" per application and rendering received and stamped vcc approved on 1/10/13. Sign will hang from underside of balcony on 4" chains and will be illuminated by existing floodlights. Sign will read "jose balli jewelry", and will be burgundy and white, with 8" letters, as shown in rendering received and stamped vcc approved 1/10/13.
