Remove existing concrete basement floor. Excavate soil to increase ceiling height in basement. Pour new concrete floor. Note: contractor to notify district inspector after removal of old floor. Inspector will verify foooting foundation depth. No underpinning allowed under this permit. Under no circumstances shall contractor remove soil without prior authorization from building inspector. This permit does not authorize any use of basement area. Separate zoning use permit to be secured should owner decide to use basement area for any purpose.
