This is a request to remove a small non-structural dividing wall on our front porch. This wall runs along the property line on our and our neighbors front porch. Neighbor address is 4456 q street, nw - barton property. The reason we are requesting removal is that the neighbor has filed civil suit that this wall is encroaching approximately 2 inches on her property. The wall was built about 11 years ago and there has been no mention of this until now. We want to remove the wall in order to settle this civil action. The only alternative is to take this to court and that will be very expensive as we have already spent thousands in legal fees trying to arrive at another solution. Removing the wall removes the encroachment. The dimentions of the wall are . 83 feet in width, 6. 8 feet in length, and 2. 8 feet in height. Total of about 15. 8 cubic feet in volume.
