Interior alterations in an existing type 1a building. The building contains 47 units and the scope of work involves one condominium unit which is demised on a portion of the 12th and 13th floor. The work occurs on the 12th floor only. The unit has an existing communicating stair between the two floors and has at least 2 means of egress from both floors. The work consists of rebuilding a previously demolished bathroom, utilizing existing plumbing piping, replacing branch piping and riser valves and providing new lavatory, toilet and shower in lieu of bathtub for previously removed fixtures. Elevator related work including grouting of north service elevator door frames, firestopping hall buttons, plastering and painting wall at north service elevator, rerouting of gas line and related cutting, patching and painting, ship ladder and landing, fire doors and closure of opening in floor of elevator machine room, removal of ladder and concrete beam on penthouse floor, patching waterproofing on floor of penthouse, new heating and air conditioning for penthouse, reworking existing wood paneling to recess fire alarm and elevator panels in main lobby, and electrical work related to elevator modernization.
