The site development permit is to cover the clearing and grubbing of the site, and all earthwork associated with the development of the building pad and adjacent hardscape, and importing the fill required for the grading of the site for the proposed plaza building. Due to the soils at the site, it is critical that the site fill be placed in advance of the footings in order to let the soils consolidate, thereby minimizing settlement. A building permit for the shell package for the plaza building will be submitted in august. By obtaining the site development permit, the building pad can be constructed such that the foundations can begin immediately after obtaining the building permit for the shell package. The intent is to have the foundations poured prior to winter conditions. The building exterior is to be constructed of precast concrete panels. In addition to the grading work, two culverts will be constructed in the existing swale adjacent to 8 south to serve as access into the site f
