The proposed work consist on drilling soil borings will be installed using a track-mounted dpt rig to a depth than feet below ground surface. Dpt provides time and cost efficiencies over traditional drilling methods by utilizing small diameter holes that minimize surface/subsurface disturbances and the generation of investigation derived wages, as per site plans, work plans report, dc well construction application and dc well schematic form for the architect of the capitol/central power plant. This project includes erosion and sediment control measures for the addition of two concrete pads to the exterior of an existing building within the capital power plant campus.

The scope of work is the removal of 5 linear feet of exterior security fence that will be replaced with a turnstile assembly along with the installation of linear feet of concrete sidewalk on the secure side of the fence

Number of borings:7 depth of borings: ft diameter of hole: 4 inches drilling method: 2 1/4 inch hollow stem auger

We will perform a total of 5 soil borings on the proposed site. Four of the borings will be drilled to a depth of feet below existing grades and one of the borings will be drilled to a depth of feet below existing grades. The borings will be located within the bounds of the private property. The borings will be drilled utilizing 4. 25 hollow stem, continuous flight augers and/or mud rotary drilling. The borings will be performed utilizing a truck-mounted drill rig and will generate an approximate 6 inch annulus. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the borings/auger probes will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds of bentonite powder to one gallon of water. Borehole/auger probe abandonment will be performed by tremie-grouting via a positive displacement pump from the bottom of the borehole/auger probe.
