This permit is requested in order to comply with the may 23, 2013 order of the public space committee, as supported by the anc3d committee on june 5, 2013, to remove "the paving and metal fencing in public space" within 45 days from may 23, 2013, "with the exception of an eight feet wide (8) permeable paved area parallel and adjacent to chain bridge road roadway." by order, the work must be completed by july 7, 2013. As a result, matthew marcou has promised to "expedite" the permit application. We understand we will need an occupancy permit that explains the extent to which our laborers will need to occupy public space during this construction effort. We contemplate that any equipment and supplies needed will occupy either the eight feet wide (8) permeable paved area parallel and adjacent to chain bridge road roadway, or the existing driveway. There will be no need to occupy additional public space while this work is done.
