Rip off existing asbestos roof and inspect for rotten or damaged decking. Replace with owens corning tru definition lifetime architectural shingles over 1 layer of 15# ul felt paper. Install gaf leak barrier in all valleys to provide extra protection in vulnerable areas. Shingles will be installed to meet a high wind resistant standard. Hand nail six nails per shingle positioned to penetrate the shingle below. Each shingle will in fact have twelve nails. Install all new drip edge, vents, lead pipe boots and jacks. Install 2 new chinese saddle vents; reinstall ridge tiles once complete. All permits for hdlc will be filed by brennans roofing. Dispose of all asbestos according to louisiana laws. 27 squares. Install all new 1 2" cdx plywood over existing deck. 81 sheets.
