We are uncertain whether the violations are applicable to the logan hotel located at 18 benjamin franklin pkwy or the office building located at 1 n. 18th st. Our appeal is limited to those violations for the hotel. We do not represent the owners of 1 n. 18th st.

For prescriptive alterations to create a new group b prepared food shop (cafe w < occ.) within the ground floor lobby of an existing hotel, as per plans; separate permits required for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression work; building is fully sprinklered; no signs on this permit.

Hotel with restaurants, meeting rooms, fitness center. Increase the number of guest rooms from the existing 3 rooms to 393 rooms, replace ground level office space with retail space; add a new roof top bar; add elevator penthouse and stair enclosure at roof level.

Reno and reconfig of existing spa and fitness area at bsmt level.. Reno and reconfig of existing ground flr public spaces including restaurant fit-out. Adding two new ext entrance exits along north & northeast face of bldg. Creation of new paved patio area, and doors to access it, along bldg courtyard elevation. See ap #614502 for roof top addition for bar lounge. Separate co reqd for new ground flr retail spaces.

Replacement of interior finishes throughout guest rooms and corridors on floors 2-8

Construction of a sidewalk dining terrace for new hotel restaurant. Terrace includes steps and ramp to connect the int restaurant.

For the addition of roof top mechanical equipment and acoustical screen of an existing structure . Addition accessory to existing visitor accomodations with 393 rooms , sit-down restaurants, roof top bar, personal service, accessory offices and existing vacant retail commercial spaces at ground floor (use registration permit required prior to occupancy at each space) in the same building existing signage and all other uses as previously approved. No sign on this application. Size and location as shown in the application.

Addition of new structure and deck at roof top to contain new rooftop bar and new support spaces, including the extension of two existing stair towers to roof. No outdoor assembly spaces on roof approved as part of this permit. See ap #603706 for plans and declared value of entire project.

For the erection of five(5) flatwall signs ( below the 2nd floor window sill) and for the erection of one(1) free-standing sign. Sign accessory to existing sit-down restaurant and visitor accommodations in the same building with all other uses as previously approved.

For level ii alterations to an existing building to include the erection of partition walls in basement level and structural work for dunnage as shown per approved plans. Building to be fully sprinklered. All work to be done per approved plans. Amended permit required for special inspections. Separate permits required for all other work.

For level ii alterations to expand an existing rooftop bar, and to install awnings above the new bar space, on the roof deck of an existing hotel (no changes to size of roof deck; no change in previously approved occupant load under ap#759966 and bbs variance #30545), as per plans; separate permits required for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression work; building is fully sprinklered; no signs on this permit.

For co and legal occupancy of rooftop terrace, outdoor dining and assembly area only, with all construcion completed under ap#614502. Outdoor fire pits to comply with the fire code (no solid fuel burning). Separate permits to be required for any plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire suppression and fuel gas (for proposed fire pits) alterations. (iebc 2009, addition)

Add the following- roof top terrace, at grade terrace, accessory signage, restaurant canopy with signage, retail canopy with signage, new mechanical platform, transformer and cooling towers with decorative prapet all as indicated on attached plans.
