Electrical work includes replacement of knob-and-tube throughout units, and bringing electric and smoke alarms up to code. Building costs include cabinets and any new appliances for both kitchens, plus finish work (plastering). Exterior alteration is window replacement.

On completion of "shell" for extension (new bedroom, dining room extension and porch) as listed in application for permit by quality construction: homeowners will assume responsibility for finish work, including hiring of electrician, plumber, carpenters as needed; homeowners will undertake less-skilled work themselves (e. G. Fiberglass insulation, flooring, wallboard, painting, etc.) subsequently, homeowners will again act as general contractors for new bathroom and other necessary work as shown on architechts plans.
