Removal of int partitions and construction of new restroom and classrooms on the 2nd floor and residence on the third floor

Use of (2nd) floor as an educational facility, use of (3rd) floor as a single family dwelling in an existing building. All previously approved uses on first and basement levels remain. No signs on this permit.

Asbestos remediation required prior to start of work interior alterations of existing educational facility (1st floor only); alterations to include demolition of interior non-bearing walls, erection of new partitions, doors & windows and structural modifications per signed and sealed plans. Structure is not equipped with an automatic fire suppression system. Separate permits required for plumbing, mechanical, electrical. Upper floors vacant and to be physically sealed per affidavit of restricted use.

To amend bldg permit #6784 for the elimination of supplemental steel framing and use of engineered wood framing instead at 2nd floor; for the erection of accessible ramp in lieu of previously approved platform lift and associated demo and finish work.

For ist floor only classes k thru 8. No change to building height or area. No work is proposed on 2nd and 3rd floors, floors will be physically sealed off from rest of building with lockable access door provided (no signs on this application)
