SCORE 63 14 P Street Nw Washington Dc Oculus will create a space for people to interact in the busy logan circle neighborhood. Materials: we plan on using synthetic turf for the groundplane to visually define the space. The turf will be bounded on all sides (except for the sidewalk facing side) by a wood border to create a more defined edge. A vertical element constructed out of wood and pvc pipe will frame the street-side edge, providing separation and screening from the road. Seating elements and low tables will encourage people to enter and inhabit the temporary park and to relax and interact with other pedestrian passersby.
